Remote Vision Moebius Cube [EX] (2020)

Updated: Jan 22, 2023

We admire the shapes and shimmering of Moebius Cube [EX] with the ears snuggled up in good headphones

1 Moebius Cube [EX] 58:40

(DDL 58:40) (V.F.)

(Dark Ambient)

Available only for download, this latest Remote Vision's album is a long title of almost one hour whose linear evolution meets all the attributes of atmospheric music heavy in its tonal envelope. The long breath of openness runs through most of Don C Tyler's latest work with subtle modulations that change its emotional temperature. Drops of sounds and tears of crystal explain the philosophy of MOEBIUS CUBE [EX] whose richness is found around its long creeping movement and its homeomorphic sheath. Moving streaks in colors of sadness accompany its slow procession, while chants of rattlesnakes enchant our listening. This shamanic tonal incantation obscures our ears, which escape the first mutation of Moebius Cube [EX] around the 35th minute. The wooshh and the dark winds deflect its course, which is lavishly watered by these effects of rattlesnakes concentrated in a long rotating tube, before disappearing in a short sunny phase. Its rebirth takes place some three minutes later with darker breezes in a setting borrowed from the vibrating waves of Michael Stearns' universes. This second phase is a little more seraphic while having lost the chandeliers of its tonal jewelry, concluding a long title which reveals all of its impact towards the 3rd listening. It's often said that you have to persevere in order to find beautiful gold nuggets. MOEBIUS CUBE [EX] is one of those nuggets! And we admire its shapes and its shimmering with the ears snuggled up in good headphones. 😉
